Every Second Sunday of the month we hold Messy Church. It is a Church service for the family, with craft and sensory activities, teaching, singing, prayer, and we begin with a sandwich lunch. We are currently exploring ways to make Messy Church "autism-friendly" so we can be even more welcoming to every family and be a blessing to families with additional needs. All are welcome to come and we would love to hear from you if there is anything we can do to make Messy Church a space that is accessible for you and your family.
Every Second Sunday, 1pm-2.30pm
Sunday Kids is a session for primary school aged children where, after the opening songs, they get a bit of age-related bible teaching, play some games and do some activities and praying whilst parents/carers get to listen to the sermon and join in with other parts of the service.
Sunday's 10am (As part of the main service, parents/carers are expected to remain)
Every Tuesday morning during term-time we have Mainly Music which is a toddlers music and movement group. You come in and have an opportunity to read a book whilst everybody comes in. Then once we are all in, the music begins, with actions wonderfully led by a Mainly Music team at the front. Afterwards we have refreshments and cake available whilst the children have a play with a variety of toys. The Mainly Music team are a very supportive group and we also have a "prayer teapot" should you have any prayer requests.
If interested, please get in touch and join the waiting list.
Here at St. Michael's we run a full-time Christian Preschool which has been rated Outstanding by Ofsted. Running from ages 2-4, we provide government funded places as well as fee-paying spaces for children from a variety of backgrounds. As a part of the Church family we occasionally hold special Preschool services on a Sunday and the church host a variety of activities for the children and their caregivers.

During the holiday seasons we often run events which are designed to be a blessing to the families in our community. Over the summer we have recently run Family Fun Days which consisted of a Tot's Disco and a Kids Club one morning each week which was intended to be a free activity during that tricky and expensive holiday season.
We also run seasonal events through the year with activities going on for all the family. Over the last year we have run events for Pancake Day, Easter, Harvest, a Halloween alternative, Christmas events and more.
We
also hold other activities, so follow us on facebook or get in touch to find out what we have going on.
At St. Michael's, we really believe the family to be important and that we are called to not just say it but to do something about it. So we wish to be a support to helping families and one of the ways we can do this is by offering Parenting Courses. Our hope is that in the near future we will be able to offer some courses to help develop stable and loving relationships between parents and their children.
If you would be interested in joining us on a course and to be kept updated, please contact us so we can get in touch to invite you along. You can also follow us on Facebook where we will advertise any courses we are putting on.
